The wedding was performed by Reverend Jay Wolf. After the chiming of the hour, the bride entered the sanctuary wearing a traditional strapless gown with beaded lace adorning the bodice and the hemline of the cathedral length train. The gown was champagne and ivory and had a delicate contrasting bow at the waistline. Rebecca carried a bouquet, designed by Charlotte Hall, of flame calla lilies and autumn colored roses. The groom's boutonnière was a lily slipped from the bride's bouquet. Miss Stephanie Marie Harmon, the bride's sister, served as Maid of Honor and Mr. Travis Jordan Buchanan, the groom's brother, served as Best Man. The bridesmaids were Lindsey Buchanan, Mallory Edwards, Christy Glassford, and Mallory Richardson. Miss Scarlett Mae Harmon, the bride's niece, was the flower girl. Matt Andress, Chad Boak, Gary Jones, and Michael Whisonant serves as groomsmen. Assisting as ushers were TJ Phelps and Richard Williams. Mrs. Sara Jo Bagley performed the couple's favorite arrangements on the pipe-organ throughout the ceremony and Jonathan Green accompanied a duet of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Andress during communion. Immediately following the ceremony, the couple received their guests at The Young House and danced in the court yard to the sounds of Henry Pugh. After spending a week in Venice, Italy, the couple will reside in Montgomery. |

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Knox of Prattville, Mrs. Patricia Prescott and the late Harry Prescott of Selma, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stinson of Billingsley. She is a graduate of Tri County Christian Academy. She attends the University of South Alabama and is employed with Strausberg Childrens Clothing of Mobile. The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roger M. Baxter of West Carrollton, Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Page of Midway, Ohio. He is a graduate of Prattville High School. He is now attending the University of South Alabama and is employed with Wal Mart in Mobile. |

The Bride is the daughter of Mrs. Charlotte Shaw Shewmake and the late Charlie Burrel Shewmake, Junior and the granddaughter of Marie Rainwater Lanier, Dean Dwight Shaw, junior, the late Jane McKenzie Shewmake, and the late Charlie Burrel Shewmake all of Montgomery. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nelson Codding, IV and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Monroe Perdue, junior of Montgomery and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nelson Codding, III of Birmingham. Amanda was escorted by her godfather Roger Yonker. The bride's maid of honor was Kimberly Goldstein of Charleston, SC and her bridesmaids were Jennifer Karr of Birmingham, Emma O'Brien of Grand Haven, MI, Catherine Shonk of Montgomery, and Karen Stern of Roswell, GA. Ava Lunsford and Marley Smith served as flower girls. Maggie Paul served as crucifer. Honorary attendants were Lesleigh Shewmake Batchelor of Mableton, GA, Laurie Shonk Ingle of Montgomery, Beth Codding Lunsford of Jacksonville, FL, and Allison McKenzie Shewmake of Montgomery. The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Paul Barrier of Decatur, AL, Paul Criswell of Greenville, SC, Michael Lunsford of Jacksonville, FL, and Robert Pressley of Tuscaloosa. Derrick Shonk, nephew of the bride, served as usher. Joel Gregory, organist, Dennis Herrick, Trumpeter, and Sun-Young Gemma Shin, violinist, provided music for the ceremony. A reception followed at The Oaks, where guests were entertained by Bobby Moore and the Rhythm Aces and catering by a Catered Affair. Jill Sampson served as wedding consultant and floral designer. After a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple now resides in Huntsville, Alabama. |
